Decorative Front Door
January 5, 2024
Fly-in drone video of the decorative installed French front door. Notice that there is no step from the front porch to the inside of the home. With no step and the 6-foot-wide French door, it will make it easy to bring nearly anything into the home.

Insulation
January 22, 2024
Closed Cell Foam Insulation. This is a video showing how the first layer of foam insulation is installed. What is being applied is closed cell foam. It has the highest insulation rating, but is very expensive, so it is applied first to the underside of the roof sheathing. It is also very moisture resistant and sticks to the surfaces very well to prevent it from falling off.
January 24 – Open Cell Insulation
This video shows the next layer of insulation being applied – open cell foam. As you can see, this insulation expands very quickly. Together, the closed cell and open cell foam insulation creates a better than R-60 insulation layer.

January 29, 2024 – Blown-In Fiberglass Insulation
This video shows how blown-in fiberglass insulation is installed. First, they put up fine mesh netting with staples on each piece of wood. Then they blow insulation in from a truck on the street, directing it down and then up. By doing it this way, it creates a tight compression of the fiberglass, helping keep it from sagging over time.
